Natus Vincere have taken out the ASUS Spring 2011 after defeating DTS on both de_nuke 16-7 and de_dust2 16-11. This marks the first ASUS tournament win for Na'Vi in their impressive career so far.
The first match of the final would see de_nuke, a map Na´Vi usually stay well clear of, but have shown a liking to it so far this competition. It would be DTS however, that got the better start and started to open up a bit of a lead on the favoured Counter-terrorists. Once Na´Vi got into the rhythm of the map, they were able to claw their way back and take a slender 8-7 lead at the break. Na´Vi continued to mount on the pressure in the second half and managed to win the eight consecutive rounds needed to end the map 16-7.
Markeloff pleased with his teams success.
The second map de_dust2 started off similar to the first, DTS managed to win the opening pistol and take majority of the opening rounds. Once again Na´Vi clawed their way back into the contest and went into the break leading DTS 9-6. Na'Vi continued their momentum and took the pistol round straight after the break, from here they never looked back winning the required seven rounds to take the map 16:11.
